Lonstroff Wins $4.8 Million In Slovenian Government To Build New Plant
Lonstroff has received US$4.8 million from the Slovenian government to finance its development of a medical component manufacturing facility in the country. Lonstroff is part of Sumitomo Corporation.
Sumitomo Corporation announced plans to invest in August last year.
The factory is scheduled to be completed by mid-2020 and is expected to create 180 jobs.
Swiss company Lonstroff manufactures and sells primary packaging and medical rubber products used in medicine. SRI acquired the company in January 2015.
According to SRI, the new plant will triple the company’s production capacity for primary packaging and rubber parts in Europe.
