Kiefel, a German plastics machinery supplier, is building two production halls to expand its production capacity at the Freilassing facility.
The new facility covers an area of 2,600 square meters and is equipped with a variety of convenient design details, including electricity supply, compressed air and cooling water through the ground passage.
Production Manager Helmut Strecha explained: “With this expansion, the company expects to achieve planned growth in the Freilassian region in the coming years.”
The expansion project is expected to be completed in 2018.
Kiefel said that for plastics experts, the remaining orders are still large and it is expected that the major markets will continue to maintain economic growth.
The company stated that in order to promote economic growth, an education and learning center will be built in February next year.
Kiefel expanded its warehouse and pre-assembly area in 2017.
