Jindal Poly Debugs New CPP Line At Indian Plant

Jindal Poly (JPFL) announced the installation of its first cast polypropylene (CPP) production line in India at the Nashik facility in Maharashtra, India.

Jindal stated in a statement on March 3 that the five-tier CPP production line from Reifenhauser has a width of 4.8 meters and an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons

Jindal said that the line is widely used and “the most technologically advanced in the country”. It can produce a wide range of CPP series films, which can be used for conventional applications as well as specialty films for high barrier and cooking grade applications.

According to Jindal, due to the lack of high quality thin films and innovative products, CPP film has limited development in India.

The company said that the new production line will support the regular supply of "high quality and innovative films" in this segment.
