Automotive supplier International Automotive Components announced on March 7 that it has opened a high-end door production base in Prestis, Czech Republic.
The supplier said that the company has invested 40 million U.S. dollars (32 million euros) in the new production base, which will be its third business in Prestis
The production site covers an area of over 32,500 square meters and can accommodate up to 800 employees.
This reservation is the final stage of the ICAS Group's second district, which will enable the company to continue to provide its customers with support from the Central Europe region.
Plastis II can produce 600,000 sets per year of door panels.
Plastis Region 1 provides the European headquarters of excellence for the company’s headquarters.
