German car seat company Grammer has started a new technology center and headquarters in Ulsonsorn, Germany.
The company said that the facility covers an area of 50,000 square meters and can accommodate 700 employees.
The second phase of the project will be completed by the end of 2019 and is expected to cost about 40 million euros.
Grammer said that integrating the various departments will "release synergies and increase the efficiency of the development process."
Grammer CEO Hartmut Muller said that we are creating a modern working environment for our employees.
He also said that the facility was designed to achieve "best conditions for production, innovation and ergonomic activities."
He said: "At the same time, we will be able to increase production efficiency and synergy through centralized R&D activities."
The Gramer headquarters is currently located in Amberg, approximately 10 km (6 miles) northeast of Ulson Soløn.
