ContiTech Plans To Expand Its Automotive Surface Material Production Capacity In China
ContiTech, a German parts supplier, plans to expand its production of automotive surface materials in China.
The investment will be carried out at its subsidiary Benecke-Hornschuch Surface Group Group Business Unit.
Antje Lewe, head of external communications at ContiTech, said: “This investment is aimed at the environmentally friendly, low-emission and non-allergenic automotive interior materials required by the Chinese automotive market.”
According to Lewe, the company plans to expand local production capacity to provide more rapid solutions to customers in the region.
However, she pointed out that the company has not yet identified a specific investment opportunity.
Benecke-Kaliko AG, located in Hanover, is part of ContiTech and specializes in the development and production of plastics technology and automotive decorative surface materials.
